THE TEXAS QUEST HAS BEEN CANCELED!!! As the forest service closed the trails in the Sam Houston National Forest the last day of March. We just did not have the time or plans to map out a new course somewhere else. Refunds are in the works.
However we will put on a free unofficial " practice race" on Cypress Creek at Cypresswood Dr. Saturday morning. Please check out facebook page for the details as they will be going up soon.
The race on Cypress Creek will have a 3 hour flagged run, paddle, bike then 3 hours of navigation trek, bike, and paddle. For those training for an multi day race a suggested extra 10 hour route will be provide. This " practice race" will have no support - so bring you own water, food and safety gear. Hope you choose to join us. Come do as much or as little of this course as you like and let me know if you would like to see a real race here in the future.
